Consuelo Barocio

Consuelo R. Barocio, 85, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023 at her home in Chicago, IL. Consuelo, was born in Edcouch, Texas. She was the daughter of Apolonia Ramirez. She belonged to St. Joseph church, where she was a Dama de Guadalupe. She enjoyed dancing, writing songs, being a member of the Union Civica Mexicana, playing loteria, amongst other things. She will be remembered for being a devoted mother, hard worker, her great hospitality, and being a loving grandmother. She is survived by her children Maria Barocio, Diana Sanjavier, Alicia Garcia, Indalecio Barocio Jr., Elida Barocio, Ramon Barocio(Nora Barocio), thirty grandchildren, fifty-six great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother, Apolonia Ramirez, grandsons Jose J. Saldaña, Benito Sanchez, Luis A. Sanchez, Noe Saldaña, granddaughter Rosenda R. Barocio, son Jose G. Barocio, and daughter Estella Barocio.
