Pablo Martinez Obituary

Pablo Martinez aka “Lito/Pablito” was born at Norwegian Hospital in Chicago, Illinois on July 12, 1974 to Yolanda Malacara and Pablo Martinez. He left us on January 28, 2022. He attended Cardenas Elementary and graduated from Genesis High School. As a child, he was very rambunctious and energetic but brought great laughter to everyone around him after he was lost and found many times at stores, malls, and public places. Pablo was a very loving, peaceable, kind, and happy person. He loved to listen to various genres of music, watch movies and educational programs when visiting family and friends. Playing the guitar and singing was his hobby. His favorite food was Chinese. He also liked to impersonate Donald Duck’s voice. He enjoyed to walk and take the bus everywhere even in the middle of winter. Everywhere he went he carried his 2 liter of RC drink, known as his “Veneno.”

He was blessed with a spiritual heritage born and raised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Baptized as a teenager in 1993. He met his spiritual wife, Maria Mirna in his local congregation and married her on April 14, 2001 and raised 3 children. He spent a lot of time drawing close to his God and Creator, Jehovah. As he diligently studied every book of the Bible, he created 5” inch binders to add his outline, notes and supporting documents/data. He always carried his briefcase as he spent many hours in the preaching and disciple making work formal and informal witnessing. Praising Jehovah through his comments, and volunteer spirit at his local congregation. He spent a lot of time teaching his family about Jehovah through spiritual publications, movies, and song books.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pablo Martinez. Grandparents, Luciano and Agustina Malacara. He is survived by his wife, Maria Mirna Martinez, children, Joel Eliseo Martinez, Dalila Asucena Martinez, and Lidia Dulcelena Martinez,  his mother, Yolanda Carrillo, siblings, Yolanda Imelda Martinez, Enrique Esteban Martinez and Raul Carrillo, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Even though Pablo struggled with many illnesses which limited his service to Jehovah at times but he never stopped serving his Creator.

. . .“I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” Jesus said. . . “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life . . . John 11:24-26.

RESURRECTION

One day there will be no weeping for those that are sleeping

Even though your gone, I’m still surviving dawn.

Until we reunite in the future, I will be waiting

so patiently for Jehovah to suture!
